RADTAC Delivers PragmaticAgile to Profund
RADTAC provides Agile RUP Based Services and deliver Project Management and Delivery Improvement
RADTAC Ltd, leaders in the practical application of Agile Project Management, Development and Delivery Services, and originators of the PragmaticAgile approach; has been selected by Profund to provide a planned programme of Agile RUP Training and Consulting Services for Project Management and Delivery improvement.
Profund, part of the Jardine Lloyd Thompson Group, and specialists in the development and implementation of pensions administration and payroll systems for in-house schemes, third-party administrators, and Life Offices pension administration; has selected RADTAC to work with them to reappraise and redirect their project management and delivery processes. Profund has a full and growing portfolio of projects to manage, develop and deliver and with this the need to ensure that they optimise their ability to deliver high quality, high value systems to their client base.
Profund enjoys over 20 years experience in the development and delivery of systems for pensions administration and payroll, with an expanding user base of more than 250 clients, representing retail, airlines, financial services, manufacturing, oil and energy industries, and includes many FTSE 100 and 10 Fortune 500 companies. Since becoming part of the Jardine Lloyd Thompson Group in 2004, Profund has realised significant additional opportunities as a solutions provider and an expanded product and services portfolio.
Martin Freeman, Product Solutions Manager, led the Profund selection process. “We selected RADTAC because they are Pragmatic rather than Dogmatic. Their approach was constructive rather than prescriptive, and focussed on providing Consulting, Training and Services to address what we at Profund needed to do – rather than pushing us to do what they wanted us to do. We chose to go with RUP at Profund because it suited our business requirements – and RADTAC were very able to provide the skills and services to help us to make the transition”.
David Hicks led the RADTAC delivery to Profund. “RADTAC takes a Pragmatic approach to Agile. We look to work closely with our clients and to capture their existing processes that add value, and where practical to include these within the Agile framework that we deliver – we call it PragmaticAgileTM. We don’t advise our clients to stop what they’re doing and make a jump to Agile, rather we look to help them plan and execute a transitional approach and to make informed decisions that are appropriate to their unique requirements and culture. We know that it’s an approach that works, and we’re very pleased to have proved that again with Profund”.
RADTAC worked closely with Profund to plan and apply a transitional approach to RUP, provided through a programme of consulting, classroom training, and workshops with practical exercises based on real Profund projects. The result at Profund has been fast, effective and high value.
